Samantha Torrisi is an atmospheric and contemplative painter whose work explores the dialogue between landscape, memory, and human presence.

Living on the slopes of Mount Etna, she draws on the volcano’s energies and Sicilian horizons to create dreamlike spaces where figures and places dissolve into rarefied atmospheres. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania, her practice integrates painting with video and photography, addressing themes of nature, anthropization, and the dynamics of contemporary life through an emotional, poetic lens.

She has participated in international projects such as Etna Eternal Flame with Monira Foundation, New York and Fondazione Orestiadi Gibellina, and her work is held in public and private collections.
