Born in PalermoLives and works in Palermo, Sicily Pietro Motisi is a Sicilian photographer whose introspective practice examines the intersection of man and territory. Born in Palermo in 1982, he began self-taught photography within theatre and editorial contexts in 2002 before earning a degree in Documentary Photography at the University of Wales, Newport in 2012. Through film-based architectural and landscape imagery, he creates contemplative visual essays that explore place, memory, and belonging beyond anthropocentric views.
