Reflects on excess, desire, and the impossibility of completeness. Each cube is individually painted, with layered drips of color, splashes, and handwritten text that recalls graffiti and personal notes.
The surfaces evoke ceramic decoration, urban walls, and emotional traces at once. The cube, a perfect geometric form, becomes a container of instability. Color overflows, words interrupt the surface, and the repeated phrase non basta suggests a state that remains unresolved.
Rooted in the visual language of Sicilian ceramics yet pushed toward a pop-conceptual aesthetic, the work moves between playfulness and tension. Each cube can exist on its own, but together they form a modular installation that expands in space, like thoughts that cannot be confi ned to a single form.
Presented in IL BIVIO III: Mosaica, the work reflects the exhibition’s idea of fragmentation and recomposition, where individual elements come together to form a larger collective image, with the viewer becoming an integral part of the whole.
