Anna Kennel is a Sicilian painter and printmaker whose practice spans painting, etching, and lithography. Active since the early 1970s, she trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Palermo and at the International Schools of Graphic Arts in Venice and Urbino. Her work centers on the relationship between humanity and the natural environment, approached with clarity, balance, and restraint.
