Simone Geraci's (b. 1985, Palermo, Italy) practice explores the boundary between interiority and landscape. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo, Geraci is rooted in traditional painting and printmaking, yet continually reinvents these forms with poetic minimalism and symbolic tension.
His recent works juxtapose human figures with vast skies or abstracted horizons, evoking memory, longing, and emotional stillness. Geraci paints moments suspended in time—where cloud formations and solitary portraits become visual metaphors for waiting, introspection, and fragile hope.
Geraci has exhibited across Italy and Europe, including Faire Apparaître (Paris, 2018) and Échos (Scicli, 2019). He lives and works in Palermo.
