In this work, Marchica distills the Sicilian horizon into its most elemental form, an expanse of saturated ultramarine meeting a field of luminous white. The minimal gesture, pared down to pure color and line, captures the essence of landscape as a sensory space rather than a literal view. Through restraint and material sensitivity, Marchica transforms pigment into a meditation on place.
