Marilina Marchica is a Sicilian visual artist whose practice explores memory, architecture, and the fragility of time. She earned her painting degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna (2008) and studied at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Utilizing techniques such as casting, collage, and décollage, her work investigates the trace and form of abandoned structures, rendering them as ephemeral poetic landscapes rooted in place and material.

Based in Agrigento, she captures the dialogue between architecture and nature in compositions that hover between abstraction and memory.
